Our wishes for you in 2018 are happiness, health, and growth. Give yourself the gift of being present this year. Writer Elizabeth Gilbert suggests a Happiness Jar. Get a container (or journal) and at the end of each day, write the best moment of that day on a slip of paper and drop it in the jar. Make it a daily family practice or your personal journey. Even on the worst of days, there is a best (or least terrible) moment. A funny or kind word, the wind on your face as you walk to work, these moments are so easily forgotten if not recorded. Gilbert suggests delving into your Happiness Jar on hard days for a little pick me up and reminder of happiness. At the end of the year, you will have record of what meant the most to you that year, the stuff that makes life so great.
