This listing is for a beautiful one-of-a-kind handmade amethyst mala. Amethyst is a precious stone, long believed to have powers of protection and the ability to  stimulate the mind and emotions. Amethyst also carries the energy of fire and passion as well as creativity and spirituality. The attention to detail on this mala is incredible with small silver-plated embellishments and quartz crystal beads on the tassel. This unique mala has faux amber counters and a silver-plated guru bead. The guru bead is decorated with the eight auspicious symbols from Tibetan Buddhism (conch shell, umbrella, banner, fish, dharma wheel, eternal knot, lotus flower and vase of treasure). Each of the beads measure approximately 8mm and are strung by Hands of Tibet with love.

Prayer beads or mala are often used inTibet, India, and Nepal for meditation, counting mantras and prostration and etc. Malas are worn on left wrist while not in use. Please contact me with any further questions.

Beautiful and perfect

I received my mala beads yesterday and they are so beautiful and perfect. The weight is lovely to hold and the feel of the beads is wonderful to pray upon. I cannot wait to continue my prayer journey with them.

Tibetan Healing Mala

Love the mala. I generally prefer heavier malas with larger beads but they are harder to find unless you have them custom made. I was surprised how substantial the weight of the mala was. It felt good in my hands during my first meditation with it. The only minor issue I had was that the guru bead was suppose to be adorned with the 8 Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism which was one of the reasons i was interested in it but I received a different silver guru bead which was still beautiful. Not a big issue overall and helps me in my practice of detachment. Will definitely order from Hands of Tibet again in the next couple of days as there are a few malas that I would like to purchase for specific purposes and meditations. Many thanks for creating suchlovely malas.
