( 0 Reviews )

My last trip to Nepal I got connected with our favorite Thangka painter and got this beautiful Thang ka painting.  This painting depicts Buddha Of Compassion Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum scrip around the Om Script in the Center.  The script is the mantra of the Buddha of compassion, Avalokteshvara, in Tibetan Chenresig. It means "HAIL TO THE JEWEL IN THE LOTUS" mani means jewel and padma means lotus. It is also the mantra of promoting peace into the universe. “Om” script consist of three syllables of AH OH and MAH. The three syllable represent Body, Speech and Mind of Buddhas and Body speech and mind of ourselves.  Also represents three jewels The Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.
The painting measures 13 inches by 13 inches and hand painted in Kathmandu Nepal.  Due to handmade Nature of this item, each paintings slightly defers from each other.
