This listing is for a handmade brass double dorje/vajra phurba pendant with waxed cord. This pendant measures approximately 1 inch and was handmade in Kathmandu Nepal. Phurba is often used during Tibetan Buddhist tantric practices for the clearing or cutting away of evil spirits. The dorje or vajra, in Sanskrit, is composed of two symbols, both the thunderbolt (symbolizing irresistible force) and the diamond (symbolizing indestructibility). Often used in unison with a bell during meditation, the dorje symbolizes the male principle and is held in the right hand while the bell represents the female principle and is held in the left hand.
