These beautiful shawls are handmade and dyed in Nepal by a sherpa Tibetan family that lives in Kathmandu. ‘Water’ shawls are a 50/50 blend of silk and pashmina, which makes them even more versatile due to their lightweight and soft nature. They keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer! Pashmina is valued for its soft fibers and amazing texture that come from goats raised in the Himalayas. The warp and filler threads in some of these shawls are contrasting colors, which gives the shawl have a shimmery iridescent look.
