This mala is made using wood beads and a yak bone skull bead. Each wood bead approximately measures 8mm and It is made adjustable that would fit any wrist size. It comes in a handmade cloth bag. Mala beads are usually used for meditation, counting mantras, prostration and so on You can usually see lots of Tibetan buddhist monks and lay persons use malas while they go around stupas or doing prostrations all over Tibet, Nepal and India. In the monasteries monks use mala for Buddhist Phylosophical debading. You wear it around your left wrist while the mala not in use.

Outstanding Mala!

This mala is wonderful. The small skull is expertly carved with subtle but striking detail. The thread is firm but easy to adjust. It's a beautiful work of art and I'm so happy to have it!
