This listing is for a set of 10 multicolor mixed prayer flags. Each color flag is printed with a different deity and the corresponding prayers. Wind horse is a symbol of luck and the color yellow represents earth. Green Tara symbolizes protection from and overcoming ones fears, the green symbolizing earth. Guru Rinpoche is knowns as the "Second Buddha", he brought Buddhist teachings to Tibet in the 8th century. He is known for removing obstacles. The color red represents the element of fire in Tibet. The white flags have Buddha of Compassion and the color white represents wind. The blue flags have Medicine Buddha printed on them and the color blue stands for sky/space. Each flag measures 6 inches by 8 inches and is handmade in Kathmandu Nepal.

Prayer flags are usually hung both indoors and outdoors on roof tops or the tops of mountains so that when the wind blows the prayers are released into the universe creating a warm environment. In Tibet, Nepal or India, you can see prayer flags on the hill tops or on the temples or stupas.Our prayer flags are handmade in Nepal by a local family that has been making prayer flags in Kathmandu for decades.
